Might want to read this thread. Not for it's main contents (which are interesting ie.. oem ecu tries to go around the UTEC program) but for the side issue of the AEM on the Z.

Basically what I deciphered from that article is that my car is going to need the ECU reflashed for it to hold a proper tune! Am I correct on that, or did I not read it right!

you dont NEED a tune Jeremy, your car just wont run to the best of its potential without a tune.

Well that's a side issue. The poster tuned his car but he has a ton of mods. My point being the side issue of AEM's cai actually LOSING power over stock.

y would he need a tune for an intake??? i have the same intake and have absolutly no problems with it. and if im not mistaken, someone on my350z did a dyno comparing the aem cai and jwt pop charger..they put down the same power
