Updated pics- Kuruma Z .

Well guys, finally got the G out of the shop last weekend. Lemme say I'm very sour about the poor quality of the Kuruma bumper. My shop had a hell of a time getting that damn thing to fit properly. By no means does it "bolt right up" like CZP claims it does. $1050 later (thats right...ON TOP OF THE $800 for the bumper) it finally got done.

Im not sure what some of you guys find acceptable with afm parts but this thing sucks ayse. Def. not worth all the dough. The material itself is super flimsy. The guy said it was like working with the wet-cooked noodle. There is a ton of things they needed to modify behind the bumper cover, so theres much, much more to it than what Ill be telling you.

on to the pics... The final product looks great. Only giving "props" to the Bodyshop for pulling it off for me.

Sorry, Im no pro in taking or touching up pics.

They needed to modify the inner corners where the bumper meets the fenders. (mega overlapping over the headlights)

They also needed to modify the right front upper bumper leg. (where it meets the hood.) The hood wouldnt shut because of interfence. (mega overlap as well)

Check out my ground clearance. Used my verizon EN-V as a prop.

OK now for all those who say I need "sides". Its in the works fellas. I had a set of Ings sides from Eric but they really didnt work out to well for me. So I think Im gonna do a set of Nismo sides. I basically want plug and play parts that fit like OEM. Im tired of B.S'ing around.

Ok, so for those who want a Kuruma, based on my expirience, either look for something else OR get ready to pay to get it to FIT like OEM. It should, Its fuvking expensive enough, ya know.

Comments good or bad welcome!

Sorry that happen to you bro that kind of stuff is always sh!!ty and expensive...but good news is that the ride and bumper look great and your bodyshop did a good job. Love the look your Gs real clean.

I was looking into getting the Kuruma Z front also but i have heard aside from your story, many other stories and problems on the fitment of the kuruma especially the behind or the backside of the bump needs modification to fit along with the overlapping. There was another post like this but cant find the link ATM. The bumper is not cheap either.

Well looks like i will need to find a different bumper i like that will fit well or atleast wont require hours and hours of prep and modding before it fits decently.

looks great! the rims & the drop alone make ur car look perfect! i like your old pictures (with oem grille & bumper), but i will say something you already know-you def need sides to carry that bumper! g/l with the sides install!! hopefully they wont be as big of a PITA like your bumper!

i think its the grille i like the least, bumper looks great! how about painting the grille oem grille blk? check out johnjayb's car!

oh & $1800+ for just that is too steep!

Bumper looks great but I think they hosed you on the cost of it... I have a KurumaZ as well and it fit very good... It is NOT fiberglass so it is more flexible ie: the wet noodle comment... but it fit great out of the gate.

Looks great man!!! What shop did you use? I live in MD but the only shop I know of that has any rep is Creative Colours. And the Efantis' own that and they are prob on the road w/ the Supra's and the Solara.

At least it's over now, and your car looks sweet.

Has anybody else had problems with their Kuruma. I was planning on getting one.
