Two piece wheels are in fact TWO separate pieces that are bolted together. Why do you think true 2 and 3 piece wheels have bolts around the edge of the face. Its to hold the two pieces together.

2 piece wheels are welded together (barrel & face)
3 piece wheels are bolted together: (Outer & Inner barrel...then face)

2 piece wheels can be like Volk GT style with a mounting lip on the barrel or be welded like many other forged wheel companies. I think iforged has recently been using modular barrels with a mounting lip.

Racing Harts are another example of welded 2 piece wheels, its just another way way, doesn't mean its wrong. I prefer not having bolts

Wasn't this car for sale on craigslist or ebay?! I could've sworn I saw it on one of those sites.. I think it was craigslist.. but not sure

My oem aluminum ones were scrateched up so i had a guy wrap them in CF.
