I really never hit a high speed corner before the suspension drop so I really don't know if it's better or worse. I'm just wondering if I screwed up a balanced suspension system by changing the spring rate, now its unbalanced till I get sways and struts. I haven't done the camber yet but, I can't imagine that would make handling worse Any suggestions about sways and struts?(brand) Anyway its my wifes car so high speed handling will be to a minimum (none) with her driving.

First of all the only 80mph 'corners' anyone should be hitting would be on a track. So if you know enough to do HPDEs, you probably know this:

1. The H&R springs are probably a higher spring rate than anything stock, sport or not.

2. Your springs rates should ideally (or more precisely always) be matched to a more dampened strut. Otherwise, its just for looks.

3. There are several things that can cause a 'loose' feeling after a suspension change. One major one is a major change in toe or camber. If you don't know about either, do a general search on Google, its a huge topic.

You should always get an alignment after you mess with the suspension, otherwise you just messed up the factory setting.

----
Furthermore, keeping costs at a minimum (as a high priority) really doesn't work well with suspension setups.

If a good suspension requires "a+b+c" but you only want to work on "a+b" then you will only get aesthetics and maybe comfort, not performance.
