NICE THREAD! I just want thru all 20+ pages of this thread, awesome wheels and lugs! But it's made me rethink my current selection. It's winter now, but when spring roles around, I have a set of Gunmetal Volk GTS's with gunmetal Rays lugs (short). I've also got a set of Akebono's powdercoated candy blue. Those of you who have blue Rays Formula lugs, how close are they to the G's Athens Blue body color? I've seen Volks anonized blue lugs and I'm not digging that hue. I'm hoping the Formula's are darker.

Edit: I went ahead and bought a set of the blue formula lugs. And as I feared, they're more turquoise than blue. I have a can of athen's blue spray paint and gave one a few sprays and a couple coats of clear. Probably need some fine sanding and coupound to make it shine a bit better.

question do they come with a wheel lock?

 

You need a special tool to drive/install these. Then the provided allen wrench to fasten the color caps. Product description says "7 sided hectagon shape with a special internal drive." So, not really a "lock." But can't be removed with a regular socket wrench set. The thief will probably have to own a set of these or stolen a tool from someone. Can a Formula lugs owner chime in to confirm? Thanks!
