Post Up Your Lugs/wheel Combos!
Thanks homie. I'm thinking of switching it up already though lol..most likely to a mesh style. Probably do a photo shoot with my current setup before redoing the whole exterior.
why did you hate your Volk Red Formula Lugs?
b/c i just ordered a set!
Awesome set ups and pics...i have not seen too many suggestions and posts on the OEM coupe 19" Rays. Put mine on last week with OEM lugs/no locks. I need a set up around 100ish that will work with locks. Car is BS sedan with OEM color coupe rays....thanks for the info and suggestions
It looks hot, but the quality is ****. The lugs themselves get rusty after a short period of time and after all the exposure to spinning, snow, rain, dust, etc. the cap got tightened. The threads got rushed. I couldn't even get the caps out and now, the caps are rounded. I gotta drill that **** out. So much hassle and headaches for a 200+ set of lug nuts.

Today I went to get my wheels balanced and it turns out one of the caps got stuck because the thread was broken somehow, the mechanic had to drill it out. He said the material is worse than plastic. All the tools become rounded after one or two times of installing the lugs. The quality is very very poor for a product which costs so much, comparatively lugs which are made of a stronger material such as gorilla, McGards, or even OEM are much stronger and are exponentially cheaper and more reliable. The only advantage of these is that they offer security in that they are more than one piece, and that that they look way better than other lugs. I'm going to once again try to contact Volk in order to get a replacement, this is unacceptable.

Also for every person who says don't use an impact gun on the lugs, that is a mistake from what I am told. You can't tighten the lugs as much as an impact gun can and it is unsafe to not tighten the lugs on your car. Any product which costs almost triple the price of an oem component and is supposed to offer and advantage should be able to stand up to the same standards in terms of strength.

i had volk lugs on my old car for years, no problems putting them on by hand and torquing to spec. the note should be that they are not steel so they cant take the abuse like standard lug nuts.
