Glad to see you are enjoying your new 12-24 lens, #5 is my fav. I'm considering getting that one for my Nikon D40 , I'd like a wider angle lens than the 18mm I have now.
You can get shots on the middle of a two lane road is to take someone with you to sit in the car. That way if a car comes they can pull off to the side of the road quickly. Going super early in the morning at sunrise may help too.

I'd say go for the wide angle. its a great lens!
as faras having someone sit in the car for the pictures...I'd like to do that but no one I know can drive stick....pretty sad I know

well thanks. nice to know others appreciate my car as much as I do.
but you know how it goes...one is never satisfied with the way their car goes...modding is nevr 'complete'...but 'complete for right now'
