Went out today to Carbon Canyon Dr to take some pictures. i've been wanting to do this ever since i got my new Tokina, and i really liked the cloudy skies. I don't really like how they turned out, but it's kind of hard to park in the middle of a 2 lane road to take photos.

I would have liked to shoot more, but my battery died. And i also realized...i'm damn bored with my car. I gotta start saving up for the damn TT already!

Good pics, might I suggest clear corners...any profile pictures of the car?

I wanted clear corners, but i decided against it. I actually like the amber corners.
This is the only picture i have that's closest to a side-profile shot.

That fifth shot is the money shot...I feel that one. Looks good...except for the end caps on the bolts on the outside of the lip...

 

naw man, didn't go to chino hills. i've lived in OC since i was 5 years old. i only know of that road b/c me n my buddies used to 'race' on that road when we were young ricers, hahahaha

 

damn.. that's sick... love the color ... still think it would look cleaner wit some clear corners ..

strap a circular polarizer onto that tokia asap to control those reflections. i love my 10-22 way more now that i put a cpl on. it made a world of a difference.

the distortions can be fun, just make sure they aren't hurting your pictures.

 

free bump for my hometown of brea bein the site of these pics! I can tell where to take some great shots instead of on the side of the road in Carbon canyon...nice shots none the less.

 

The front lip doesn't fit right. But other than that, I really love your car.
