@ Dre: Na, I mean like flat faced or pancake flat like wheels. Kinda like the Varianza D3S but I wouldn't have gone with those.

@ Monard: You did. Live and learn right? That's what happens when you're impatient.

On another note, can someone link me to the tire stretch comparison thread?

I just bought these: Sumitomo HTR Z

I'm hoping they stretch decent, i got them at an incredible price for the width,
and i cant justify paying the rediculous prices of the other tire brands.

thx in advance

i ran those tires on my vr4 and they were meh. what size did you have to go with to fit those wheels? EDIT: just read next post

i got a pair for $260 shipped overnight.

pretty rediculous price for 315/35/17

the next cheapest was was $460 per pair for kumho or bfg, and both run bigger

Do you need a heat gun to roll the fenders or just the fender roller will be fine?

i've heard nissan factory paint is known to be sensitive and rather thin, heat first, then roll, but shane might wanna jump on this one for a more definitive answer

tried without heat. end result was trashed paint. you need to get them pretty hot so the paint flexes
