well the 285/25 is about the same size of sidewall (2.5"?) but if you're not feeling great about even doing the 30, probably not a great idea.

That's an idea... but honestly for the work that would be in it I would just cut and stitch the fender back to a more natural (but further) out position, that way the integrity would still be there and you'd have plenty of room. The only ****ty part about that is working around the edge of the rear doors. Would have to figure out a way to get around that....

Yeah, cutting and stitching is what I was talking about doing. The door is the main problem but the clearance issue isn't that far out towards the door

Getting into the wider tire sizes I know i'll be spending more. Trying to steer away from that. I guess I'll play it by ear. Get the tires mounted. Add negative camber for the time being. Then look into cutting the fenders. Gotta talk to my neighbor and see how much he would charge. I have an angle cutter I could use but then I'd have to pull the fenders, don't have a roller or anything. Just not sure how much I should pull it out. As far as possible without affecting where the door closes or just enough for clearance? Ultimately I would love to run less negative camber. I'd be so happy with -6. My front tires are at -5 camber and have pretty good wear on them. Or maybe I didn't get as good wear on the rears because I lowered the rear more and didn't adjust the toe.

^ I say just run the extra camber until you sort out the fenders.

Lol. Na I wanna dial in positive camber cos I want more life out of the tires. If I wasn't short on cash then yeah, I'd def sell the wheels and go wider and lower.

I wish I had extra fenders, some metal, and a welding machine. Would love to mess around and make my own widebody fenders, for the front at least since those are easy to replace.
