A friend pointed me to this thread, because he saw someone throw up a picture of my car. I love G's and Z's and if it would have been in my budget when i was looking for a car, I would love to own one.

I'm still bias towards domestics, and i have respect for just about anyone in the stance/aggressive fitment scene.

Maybe my car isn't as "cool" as some others, but i still deal with the risk of buckling my fenders, watching my tires shred on the smallest bumps, getting stuck on speedbumps, having old men tell me i drive a "sled" etc. Car enthusiasts like cars, plain and simple.

I'll throw up a few more pics, just because someone already did...

Not all show either.

Dre, "stance" was long dead when this guy threw his 75mm adpaters on his vette wheels.

That picture makes the camber look more ridiculous than it actually is.

And yeah, on a car like the cobalt, a 9.5" wheel, with a starting offset of +58 or so, you're going to need a little bit of spacer to get some fitment. His final offset in the rear is +8 i think.

Still looks whack, sorry. The yellow cobalt(if yours) is pretty clean though

Yellow one is mine, and thanks.

His setup is too aggressive for me personally, but i give him props for going outside the box in the cobalt world.

Hey fools, don't hate on my car! Haha. That photo was never supposed to be posted anywhere as the car is not done.

We have a lip to put on, lower profile tires to mount, and go lower with the car before it's ready. I just threw that pic on our forums for July 4th with the flag in the back etc.

But yeah, stancing (yes I said it) a domestic is not easy. If you only knew how much **** we go through to sit well.

There's no way you're going to shred your tires on the smallest bumps with tires like the ones in your pic. If they were more like the ones below....then yes. Been threw a few because of that.

I think you can go with a lower offset (or spacers) and a little more stretch and it will look more aggressive.
