The String....

Well i used the string to help me roughly align the toe, as I had lowerd the car more and installed the rear camber kit.

I did the job on a Saturday and knew that could not get the car to an alignment shop to dail it in and wanted to drive the car.

Guy at the alignment shop said that it was almost dead on.

So there you go, now we know why was the sting for... Lol

On another note: could have gone a little more aggressive in the front maybe another 5mm, but all in am very happy with the look!

It may be the actual angle of the pic. Here are the current camber specs.

OEM Spec Rear Right Rear Left
-1.8 to - 0.8 deg. -1.3 -1.5

Nice set up... They look like 20's. Do you mind me asking what the offset and tire size you are sporting?

So I will jump on this thread. Picking the car up next week and will post some better pics and more details then. For now, 20" all around with a nice stretch on the rear wheels.

And the pics won't load 😒

Depends on your tire size. I ran a 20x11 -12 with a 235/35 on -8 camber. I ran a 19x11.5+ 9? I can't remember what Jose (LR coupe from Shyne) was running, but it was less aggressive and had a 255/40 and still had space. If I had to take an educated guess...around -5 camber or -6 camber with a 245/35 or 245/50 would be a good ballpark. The smaller the diameter of the wheel, the more play you'll have. I test fit an 18x12 -7 with a 255/40 and had even more space than the 20's. Coulda gone an inch or so lower and wider wheels, or alternately, less camber, less stretch. Hope you could find this useful and make sense of some of the math.
