after seeing this, if I had 19's I would probably stick with the Z H-techs, but like others I want a little more of a drop plus im on 18's, awesome thread.

If I dont sell them locallly I will still probably keep them, oh well.

the simple bet is not to get ANY g35 springs.

just buy the 350z springs and be done with it, s-tech, h-tech, just make sure you get the Z springs.

If I'm not mistaken, the spring rates of the G35 S-techs aren't very good.

IMO you're better off with 350Z H-techs and a springmount mod if you don't get the rear drop you're looking for.

Or go with the Eibach ProKit springs which drop about 1" all around. You'll probably need a front and rear camber kit, however.

For your wife, I would really go for Z h-tech since it rides more luxurious and yet maintains performance, plus you got 20" so it would probably be better.

Thanks for the reply's guys.....the thing is jlin615 she has 20's on her coupe with stock suspension which is obviously making her car look silly with the 35 series tires on the fronts and rears. What im trying to say is will the z H-techs provide a NICE, GOOD enough drop to accomodate the 20's!?!??! I hope you guys understand what i am asking.

Again sorry for the highjack

I'm on 19" rims with 40 series tires. Right now all-around I got a little less than 2 finger gap between the fender and tire. So I'm guess you might end up with 1 finger gap or less. Plus I think the ride of Z h-tech will be ideal for a female driver.

As for scraping, I dont think you will scrape too often but still gotta be cautious. Since you have 20", you'll have more clearance than me under the car. I had another guy who's like 230lb in the passenger seat today and I'm about 190lbs., I didn't scrape at all but had to be careful.

Thanks for your reply jlin65....its just i seen and read so many mixed reviews saying the drop isnt enough or should have just went G35 s-t's....im going to go ahead and go with the 350z H techs and see how they turn out after the first month and how far out of spec i am on my alignment and go from their.
I will also be posting pics so that I can help future guys like you did!

you made a good choice going with the z h-techs, she will be happy with them, and wont have to worry about dodging things because she sits really low. it will ride nice and look way better. I'm sure its what you are lookin for.

No problem!

The reason I went with Z h-tech because I don't wanna mess around too much with alignment issues. The G is my daily driver, so I want it to be comfortable and dont want have to be too cautious everywhere I drive, yet I want it look more aggressive than stock.

I don't know about other women's preference on stiff suspensions. But when my fiance ride in the passenger seat, she hate my stock sports suspension. I'm glad the Z htech is more comfortable and dont handle soft like her civic.
