^Agreed Lyndon, they did most of the work. I was more like, "It's shake-n-bake and I helped".

Mike, you'll still need the warmer lines due to the cold weather.

Let's ask Danny and Mike if a modified version would work. I think you'll need to get the bisquit at the oil filter.

nice. Thanks for clearing that up. I just know that the pathfinder mod is absolutely horrible and was worried that this was the same thing.

Thanks for all the props guys on the set up for Bruce's g. Although this is a neat mod its not for the newb looking to add 5 hp. This mod wasn't intended to add hp. It was intended to add an oil cooler, eliminate the oil warmer, eliminate the throttle body warmer, add a nismo stat and last but not least clean up the engine bay. With this mod comes some serious purchasing on the owners part. New gaskets are needed back and drivers side. An oil cooler and biscuit are required, nismo stat must be purchased, and of course the pipes must be modded to get rid of all the nipples and npt plugs inserted to plug off holes. of course powder coating is optimal but spray paint works too. If anyone has any questions on this mod just ask any of us that have it. The reason I'm writing this is not to be rude but the burping of the coolant system is not for the inexperienced you basically have to almost overheat the car. This process will drive you nutz. But in the end it is worth it. I don't know how to guesstimate a prices for the total mod but we have found some deals along the way oil coolers 40$-200$, nismo stat 130$-160$, oil cooler biscuit 25$-180$ Lines and fittings 50$-150$ powder coating 60$ and the mod for the piping can be done at your local radiator shop for around 150$ All pipes and cooler should be pressure checked prior to install (HUGE MESS IF YOU CHOOSE TO SKIP THAT).ANy questions let us know Thanks again for the pleasure Bruce later Mike

whats the cutoff where i cant do this mod? if i do it, will i have a problem using my car in the cold? it is my DD, and i do drive my car every day. i mean, if its silly cold, i CAN use my sisters car, but i dont think she would like that.

ALSO.

how can you clean up this mess?? seriously, is it even possible?

There is no hope.

Mike, thanks again for spending the whole day wrenching on my car. I learned quite a few things along the way. I think we should consider video taping the next coolant install. It would slow things down a bit but would be very informative.

video??????? That might reveal some trade secrets. I'm not sure about that. But if it were to happen it would probably end up being a 30 min video. Not sure many people would watch the whole ordeal. I dont know maybe we will toss the idea around. later mike
