Exactly what I thought. So much for showstoppers claiming this wouldn't be the case

man u are brutle... not sure what garbage u are referring to on the edge, maybe glare?

As everyone has figured out, this is the 1st sunroof version of Mastergrade's CF roof cap which are in stock now at a reasonable price (non sunroof available also).

I would highly recommend this for any CF fans out there.

Not garbage, gap. When the idea first came up, many people asked Jim if the roof was gonna be done correctly, and tuck into all the seams along the sides and rear of the roof. He assured us it would be. As of late, that question has been ignored by everyone. Not until now has your pictures shown the actual product, which can easily be spotted as an overlay due to the design.
Luckily on your car it won't be noticeable because it is black, but every other color is going to have a pretty obvious line around the rear and sides of the roof.

wow...didn't notice the gap until someone pointed it out. not good. like redlude97 said your car is black so it wont be noticeable. Might have to go with the cf sheet and epoxy route on my car.

Only correct way to do it IMO. You have to pull the front and rear glass as well. There are a few on here that have done it already. Take a look at their work, and then compare it to this, and you will clearly see a difference.
