Another Rig Shot
Another Rig Shot
It rained this past week, so my car was filthy. Got it washed this afternoon and decided to take the opportunity to practice some more with my rig.
This is only my 3rd time shooting with my rig, I'm pleased with this result. I could have turned the wheel a little more towards to camera, as I lost a bit of the wheel, but that's ok. Engine was running with me driving in a circle (I was by myself and didn't have any help). I shot with my lighter Nikon D40 (vs my really heavy D300), 30 second exposure. Just realized I shot this at 18mm instead of 17mm...D'oh! Probably should have used a CPL to cut down on the body panel reflections...so much to learn.

Marcus, the blue background sets off your car.
I love it.
^ Depends on whether it's day or night time... unless you already knew that.

I love it.

During the day you need ND filters to get longer exposures.
