Yea, I already spent $10 buying those non-foulers from Pepboys and $10 for a set of drill bits before I even took a look at the test pipes. LOL. Oh well.

the down side to wrapping exhausts is that moisture that accumulates in the wrap will eventually lead to the pipe cracking.

How so? (I don't mean that in a defensive way.) An explanation would be nice.

I believe they will crack if the welds are junk. Basically when u wrap a piece of metal with the heat insulation, water will accumulate between the pipe and the wrap. It will eventually eat away at the finish of the stainless and look like **** once you take the wrap off. The only way I see it cracking is due to a lot of heat (aka turbo'd) and water literally being dumped onto the pipes 24-7.

And for whoever was asking about the V2 megan's. I just installed them about a month ago. You will get a CEL. Use the non foulers, they work.

If you have an 04, you have a better chance of not getting a CEL. I Bought Berk Testies because it had the 02 bung built in (no non-fouler needed). It threw a light about a couple hundred miles later..but I just reset the ECU using the pedal method.
