they make 9 stop ND filters? i have an ND8 77mm, which is 3 stops. i thought that was dark, i can't imagine how dark a 9 stop ND filter is, lol!

^^^yah, i found it on samy's. looks like it worked well on that sunny day! i stack my polarizer and nd filters on sunny days. i have to zoom in a bit to lose the vignetting.

to allow a longer shutter speed. during the day with all that light a slow shutter speed will let in too much light.
