that looks like a newer model that wannabe has you definately do not want one of those for a beginner. I reccomend something older and used for a beginner.Originally Posted by keff108

This is my first bike. As long as you dont take risks and ride like an artard, it isnt that bad of a bike to start out on. It is fast, but controlable below 6k rpms (i try not to get above that often lol) but this thing feels slow because i learned riding on my dads Hayabusa 1300 lol Originally Posted by keff108

I love the 600, just enough power, and if you are really concerned, you can change the power mode setting to A B or C so it slows it down a bit. (definatly a cool feature)
Otherwise, i was also looking at an SV650. my friend has one of these and he loves it. Good learner bike too, but is also fun to ride.

Personally, i'd ride a few and see what you like. We just happened to get a great deal on the 600, and i felt comfortable on it. Its fun, but you just need self control. (i know your probably rolling your eyes and going "****, this kids full of crap, he probably flys all over the place risking his life") but, i really dont. I have seen what happens when you eff around and really dont care to have it happen to me.
So i just cruise.

Nah I believe you my man. I just want a bike for some enjoyment and to save on gas especially in the summers. I mean com on what kind of mpg does your get. I know they get a lot. I'm sure once I got comfortable on the bike then maybe I would have some fun. But honestly none of my friends have bikes so I wouldn't have anyone to ride with. Ive just always wanted one for the summers and maybe to take it down to the Jersey shore on weekends. But yours is very nice any pictures of it with the mods you got listed?

This is not my bike.
It belongs to Kyosho.
I was lucky enough to get a photo of it.
