drn4u gets new kicks on his g37 // PhotosByCalvin
It's always interesting to see other photographers' perspectives/interpretations, but that's over-processed for my tastes. That isn't to say others won't like it, but it's just not for me. No offense intended, it may look cool to the untrained eye, but is poorly processed IMO. Not sure what is going on around on the asphalt around the exhaust area, looks smudged/blurred, the car seems to be glowing, etc.
Did you do a pseudo HDR on those? HDR isn't the answer to everything. A lot of HDRI's that people do can be done by applying similar affects via ACR - a much more powerful took if you know how to use it, IMO.
Here are my quick interpretations of your interpretations

yea i totally agree with the smudge comment..but your rendering of the first pic looks good..i think my 2nd one looks better imo
But i also agree that HDR isnt the answer to everything..i just love the effects it gives pictures

It's not as apparent, but the car still seems to be glowing in the second picture. It's a common side effect of HDR processing, something I eventually learned to get away from with time. Also, portions of the lip lose their shade of black (appear pure white).
