Nice pics, but why didn't he just have it shipped, instead of getting all that road tar, bugs, rock chips, etc... on the car?

Well, he wanted us to come up and hang out for a night. Suprisingly, all those pictures were taken after driving probably 800 miles. I couldn't believe how there were almost no bugs on the car. And for the most part, we drove without being stuck in any traffic until we got into Pittsburgh.

Shipping is around $2000. It cost us somewhere around $150 in gas to get up there and then our flights back home were $700. So he saved over $1000 by us driving it up there.

 

^shipping cant be that much, my buddy looked at having his car shipped to cali and he was quoted $800
