this happened a month ago... we were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. lightning hit the plastic a pillar and the car was dead for about an hour and a half. luckly our phones worked so we finally get a hold of a tow truck in Fort Stockton Texas(Sp?) my mom had just called my step dad to come get us (4 hour drive) when i had told her let me try one last time and the car started right up.

I don't know about texas, but here in Cali, it is by law that we have the right to pick the repair shop of our choice!!! so look into that!

I didnt feel anything just a bang and blinding flash of light, my mom on the other hand couldnt hear out of her left ear for a while

Everything on the G is fine, she is still running strong

Nothing wrong with taht if its a good body shop.

I have most of my body panels (well my front lip) installed at our local chevy dealer's body shop.
