Just wanted to provide a little update. I'll be starting on my audio install sometime this month or early next month. Here's a glimpse of what my setup will be.
I will be sticking with the factory Bose HU. I'll be using an Audiocontrol LC6i (will purchase soon) as my LOC. I'll be disconnecting the rear speakers and not run any, but I might leave them since I'm not doing any time alignment or processing at the moment.
Fronts will be 6.5" Crystal Mobile Sound CSC60 components running off a JBL Px600.2 (more than enough power). Subs will be two 15" JL 15w6 subs in about 3.5 - 4 cu. ft. sealed enclosure with some glasswork (only one sub pictured and it's BRAND NEW, well, has about a minute of play within the last 11 years or so). The subs will run off a JBL GTO 1201.1, also more power than I need but I love the headroom
. I'll be using 60 ft of wiring and I have more in case I need extra. Basically I'll have two runs of power and ground wires going from the front battery to the rear for a solid connection.
As for sound deadening I'm sticking with the best, Second Skin. I'll be using about 160 sq. ft. of Damplifier Pro, 1 gallon of Spectrum Sludge, 18 sq. ft. of Rattle pad, possibly more if I find more rattle, and 9 sq. ft. of Overkill pro.
I'll be doing my entire trunk walls and floor (already have lid done), the front doors, front fenders, pillars, and the rear deck. This is just the beginning. I have yet to do the rear doors, the floor, parts of the firewall, and the roof.
I have yet to buy the deadener. I'll also be replacing the OEM battery and adding another one in the trunk.
Typically I don't like running common or very well known brands for audio simply because I know the quality of other products, but I love how the JBL amps look and the JL's I dislike with a passion just because they are overpriced and you can do better for the price, BUT, these are oldschool monsters and get low...and with a lil over 350 sq. in. of cone area, it will move quite a bit of air. Plus, with an Fs of 16Hz you know they'll get super low. I also like the efficiency of these subs since they only need 1.25 cu. ft. per sub and only about 400-500w each, and I had 1,110 underrated watts on tap..just enough for that headroom I was mentioning previously.

The bumper I'm keeping it on the low low....you've seen the photoshop
but I wont have any pics till its complete. The audio, well, this is only the 1st setup I'll be doing. I'll probably go through 2 or 3, maybe 4. This is my budget setup. I just wish I didn't need to go the JDM double din route, otherwise I'd pick up an older Alpine double din (w200) and get the h701 processor and be set.
Thanks Rob

That's cos your non an OutCast lol... it looks ghetto and funny, like a mutant. I guess when the work is being done I'll post up the chop.
Anyhow, took a new vid while I was out takin some pics. Better quality. The rasp you hear is from the test pipes, not the muffler. I'll update with the video once it's done uploading. 41 mins ETA ftl. It's only a 44 second clip too.
