i know this isnt the best photography, but this is my attempt at a shoot before they kicked us out. The camera is a Nikon D40. Ive been trying to play around with it but its tough not knowing much of the buttons. This is with no editing though so any thoughts or critiques would be helpful. thanks

i was using the worst tripod of all time lol it wasnt really stable even when all the legs were locked. honestly, i dont know how long it was open because i just set the ISO as low as possible so that it would automatically open the shutter for the longest time possible. i havent really gotten the hang of working the shutter on the camera yet. i need help learning the D40 lol.

oh and i wanted to ask a question.. why would the pictures come out so orange? i would expect them to come out darker but this happens everytime i try to shoot at night... insight from any of the photographers on here?
