The chrome emblem and letters on my decklid looked a little out of place with most of the car black so I popped them off, sanded them down, got some base mixed up, sprayed them and cleared and reapplied them. Looks 100x better... atleast on my car it does.

I will have to agree with you there. I was never a fan. HOWEVER, OP did a really impressive job of actually doing it. It was well executed and for that, you gotz my approvalz yoz.

Thats how the coupes are, the I's are higher.

 

I don't think the "I's" are higher on the coupes lol.

They are perfectly straight on my coupe and all the others I've seen unless I'm seeing things.

 

Well every shot I see on Google images of the back of a coupe the I's are higher...

Theyre higher becuz the bottom of the trunk isnt straight. No one notices that they are higher becuz from far off it follows the bottom of the trunk line. Of course in a close up shot like mine its gonna stand out....

I measured where mine were before I took them off and put them back on in the exact same postion
