I love the look of black lips, so I'm thinking of doing a satin black face with a polished black lip. Think that would look good, or would that be too much black for the car? I'm open to any colors, will be taking them in to get painted this weekend.

Pardon the possibly stupid question, but what would be the difference in looks between a shiny polished black lip and a black chrome lip?

 

Definitely black chrome.... Take a look at the VS-XX's marty is selling in the marketplace. He just posted them a short time ago. I would suggest going that route. Sick combo.

 

Paint the face black and leave the chrome lip. Or just powdercoat the whole rim black.

Polishing refers to a very aggressive buffing process.

Chroming is the process of electroplating chromium to metals.

& Just took a look at his VSXX... those things are beautiful. That combo is definitely on top of my list for now. I wonder if the place will be able to get them black chrome.
