i dont know what color xxr's i should get. im definetly painting my E30 black with metallic flakes when i have the funds, so what color will best suit it?

If you are going with black paint I would say no to the black rims, Black on Black meh, you loose contrast and just does not look right, I suppose your taste might be different.

Not sure how the gold ones would look, might look sick

go with the silver. they'll contrast well with the black paint
