do you remove the OEM leather, or do you apply alcantara over the stock leather?

 

I strip the leather and recover the wheel with high density foam to make it thicker, then put a layer of faux suede to even out the seams in the foam and then cover everything with the final layer of alcantara.

 

ITS INSTALLED!!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!! Job well done ROW!!!! IM speechless

Got a hold of some platinum grey alcantara that is a descent match to the willow steering wheel. Here are some pics for comparison, its a bit darker, but also depends on the viewing angle (typical for suede)

Bro.. I'm loving this.. how much do u charge and how long is the turn around time? I'm gonna assume the willow is the brownish looking color that comes in the 07 g35 coup.

Also, do u redo/cover head rest and console lips?
