Here is some serious 800grit block sanding vs non sanded end of the panel


I used the top of the car as a test subject since I put the most clear on it. I did 800 block, 1000 block, 1500 DA, 2000 block, 3000 DA trizact. After that a quick hit with some cutting agent. I can still see the orange peel so I'm knocking it back down hopefully I don't go too deep its hard to judge...

Finally today I finished the nose off. Just needs some work with the DA polishing.

so amazin man, I'm guessing the wheels went out for refinish? any hints as to what you chose?

and Henrylee those are two of my top options. I want it clean and simple, but I'm struggling with leaving it polished.

theres no outward facing panel on the windows of a vs-xx, it wouldn't stand out like on Kev's VIP modulars with brushed+ mirror windows and clear coat. idk if it would have the same boom factor as on a DPE/VIP modular, etc. Just IMHO
