Okay since its kind of in the mid of the week I decided to update this thread with a little tease pic of my new wheels that are on the way..

Now these are going to be my show wheels/ meet wheels. Specs are

19x11 0 offset
19x13-20 offset

I am in the process of buying about 8-12 wheels ( of course DPEs) for drift spares. These will be 18x9.5 - offset and 18x12- offset.. (and they will be all black too)

Hope you guys like..

Hey man awesome build very well documented! Couple questions tho, did you consider a turn one ps pump? How's the fittings work on the cooling system, I guess that's better for racing? Did you compare that timing chain, it looked more like an ls1 chain in the pic, the 2engine chain is noticeably thicker.

Also check gmpartsdirect.com and gmpartshouse.com for cheap gm parts, you could've got the ls6 pcv for half that. I like the black crinkle paint nice touch. I can't wait to see twin turbos on that thing! Gonna be crazy!

You probably could have bought a forged engine for the money spent but then you wouldn't have the satisfaction of the build! Look forward to future posts.

Oh yea, and even with the pcv conversion, you should use a catch can and vented one with the TT , but looking at your build you probably already have it planned.

Thanks for the kind words.. To answer some of your questions,,, I felt the KRC drift Power steering pump was more suited for my needs compared to the turn one ps pump.. And it will also be routed to a PS cooler..

As far as the timing chain goes, it is in deed a LS2 chain,,

And thanks for the link for direct parts for the LS, I did not buy a forged motor because I don't plan on going that route until late next year. And I plan on storking the motor so I want to take my steeps and get used to the feel first on the track and then slowly add more power as I go.

Also the reason why the LS6 PCV cost so much is cause it comes with extra parts.. Now thinking about it I did not even need them as I am doing my own catch can set up with the Saikou double catch can..

Thanks again ..

Update should come later tonight,, but going to be rough cause I am getting ready for labor day.
