tony- you could have just waited and bought one from SQ to take another one off his hands

r3d- best way would probabaly get a body shop to do the entire thing chrome like the OEM one then go back and paint the inside stripes

I have never had mine out so im not sure what it exactly looks like like that from what i can tell yes it does. Although one of my bolts looks like it got all f'd up. i have a hole in the box during shipping, and it looks like the threats are messed up. I t has a blue cover over it and have not taken it off yet to fully look. May have to try to re-thread it.

I got mine too, I only had time to snap a few pics and didn't look at it over in too much detail. It did feel heavier than the stock one though. Not sure when I will be able to get it painted and installed, but I suppose itt has been over 8 months so a little while longer before it gets on the car won't kill me..

bump anyone get theirs installed yet? i was waiting a bit to pay the final $135 due to a lack of cash and to let "concept automotive" get everything sorted out. just paid last week and currently awaiting confirmation that it is shipped, or at least an estimate of when it can be shipped

got a tracking number on 6/29/12, and since then (it is now 7/16/12) on the fedex site it says shipment info recieved...but it doesnt say anything about the actual package being recived by fedex... so i dont know whats going on here, anyone have a phone number for Dustin/concept automotive?

i called up VIS Racing/sports, the company that makes the grilles, but they couldnt really help much because Concept automotive has to pay them and pick up the grilles, rather than VIS shipping them

im not a part of this but for you stupid people who gave strafe your money after knowing what they were up to it was just a bad idea..hopefully you all get your stuff you paid for but wouldnt hold your breath..

i had this happen to me ..they told me my stuff was shipping out and gave me a tracking number that did nothing for weeks and gave me the run around the whole time i asked about it to finally find out that all they did was call it in to fed ex to get a label printed but then they dont actually ship it for a long time..They told me that they do one trip a week to the drop off shipping location and then did nothing but blame their shipping partner or whatever it was..(apparently mine didnt go that 1 day 3 weeks in a row)..finally i did get it and the tracking was updated but ya it took forever after getting that first initial tracking number

I finally tried to put the grille on and the damn thing won't fit because the bolt threads are off by more than an inch and won't align with the bumper holes. The tabs look like they *might* align, I can't tell because the damn bolt threads are so off. I can't believe I waited this long for a product that doesn't even fit correctly. What an absolute waste of money.

Damn that sucks. I havent eve done anything with mine. I took to my uncle (he has body shop) to see about painting it and he told me there was still tons of work to be done to it and pits that needed to be filled. I since have decided not to use it and go a different way with my factory grill. Your right this was a huge waste of money. It would have been better to walk into a club with the money i spent on this grill and just throw it from the balcony or hell just setting it on fire would have made me happier. Really hope this jackass from strafe or whatever hes calling himself these days never shows his face around some people.
