Too bad that shop doesn't realize they could tap into a pretty lucative market by simply making a jig off your system. I imagine all that would cost them is maybe $150 in parts (their cost) and $100 in labor (base pay). They could sell the setup for $500-600 and still make a killing.

Even from the poor quality of the photos, their worksmanship looks good and the design looks clean.

I'm sure they could jig it up if people like it. Thety already hjave a booming wholesale/retail business......it is called VRS exhaust. Their website is www.vrsexhaust.com

When I got the test pipes, they were sitting in their warehouse on the shelf.

You have to save it. Also you'll need Quicktime 6.5 or higher to play it.

Sorry about the quality, it is my cell phone. You can here that it si pretty quiet at low revs and idle, but a freak at WOT!! If you listen carefully you can hear the nice hum at idle.
I made this video in my garage, so the garage may have amplified the sound.
It sounds very nice. How about the sound inside the cabin doing city driving and highway? any drone you can detect?

Did you notice any performance difference?

Well, the exhaust is getting quieter every day. Rigth after it was completed, I thought it was too loud. Now, it is significantly better. For my needs, I need the exhaust to be as quiet as stock during business hours. Because of that, I am working on a mod to this exhaust sytem that will make allow me to remotely adjust the sound of the exhaust. It should be completed by this weekend.

There wasn't a drone per se, but it got kind of loud between 2000 and 3000 rpm. By 3000, the noise dropped off. Now that the muffler are "seasoning" the overall dB of the system hass lessened and the 2000-3000rpm area is significantly better. Now the noise is almost gone by 2500rpm. This mod I am working on should solve everything....I hope.

Performance wise, I have notice much more power in the midrange around 3000 rpms. Of course, this is all butt dyno!

magnaflwo has several of those 2in/2out muffler...that is why I can;'t remember. They have them in various body shapes and lengths. Next time the car is in the air, I'll measure it.

I went with the small round mufflers for added sound abatement. Remember, I don't have any cats either. I wanted to make sure that I didn;t have any raspiness...that kills the sound of the engine. The raspiness makes your car sound like a ricer!....imo.

Love the looks, but I have a question. Wouldn't that many mufflers result in more restricted airflow negating any HP gains?

Did you ever consider the Borla system prior to this install? Not expensive, sounds great, not loud like Stillen, deep and adult responsible. Plus you get the lifetime warranty, not welded up for easy removal, and real dyno power gains. I was just curious why you would go to all this trouble when Borla has just what you were looking for. I bought Borla after a lot of shopping around and I can't think of a better system for this car.
