I bought Borla after a lot of shopping around and I can't think of a better system for this car.
JMO, but he's probably seen lots of threads about the Borla drone.
Which I agree with; had one & had to take it off.
I think the Borla issue is more of an AT problem because it's a fairly narrow band where the drone occurs,
but thats right where the AT likes to cruise.
With an MT it's easier to stay out of the range.
My current system (Ypipe, coupe midi, HKS muff) may be slightly louder than the Borla, but no associated drone.

It's really not that much different than the Borla except the rear mufflers.
The Borla rear muff is a single straight through dual (assuming there's no internal X).
I'd really like to see the internal path of those Magnaflow offset muffs.
If they're straight through, then there is really very little difference in the path to Borla.
BUT, if there's a dipsy doodle inside the offset Magnaflow muff.....
that's entirely different.

Thanks for posting that pic of the magnaflow.
As I stated earlier, I don't have cats. Not having cats really changes the overall dBs of an exhaust system, and it tends to make them raspy.
That is why I went custom. I don't know what the borla sounds like without cats. It is raspy? I am sure it will be louder than with cats.

I got a great deal because of my customer loyalty. I have had Miami Muffler perform one-off custom exhausts on 5 vehicles.
I got a system that was tailored to my needs and exactly how I wanted it. Truly Custom. all for less than any dual exhaust system on the market. And that doesn't even consider what one would have to pay for shipping and installation.

QuadCam,
You have had your exhaust on your car now for about 4 months. Could you give a new review as to how your car is performng since your custom install?
Have you had your car dyno'd since then?

Bill,
I am very pleased with the exhaust. In the 1st few days (and heat cycles), the exhaust toned down substanstially. The 1st drive int he car was a bit louder than I wanted, but once the muffler packing went through some heat cycles, the exhaust toned down perfectly.
I still don't have a hint of raspiness.....never heard any!!!! and that is without cats, too!
Since the exhaust was completed, I added a pair of www.dhmperformance.com electric exhaust cutouts. Instead of using them in the usual manner (to bypass the mufflers), I am running them inline with the exhaust. They are placed in the rear section of the exhaust (just after the differential.) One of the cutouts completely closes off one side of the exhaust, forcing all gasses through the other pipe. The other cutout has sixtenn 16 9/32" holes and 8 1/4" holes drilled into the "butterfly." This was done to quiet the exhaust down to approximately stock levels when I need the car to "act" stock. I use this when I have clients in the car. With the cutouts closed, the car drives fine, but runs out of breath above 4000 rpms. But then again, I don't wind it with clients in the car! If I need a little more rpm, I can tap the "switch" and open up both cutouts however much I want.
When I am alone, I usually drive with them open. If I am coming home at night, I usually close it down in my subdivision.
