I have started taking a photoshop class and I am more knowledgeable then I use to be but I still have a few questions, maybe someone can help me out.

When doing a color change, whether it is body work, wheels, breaks, etc. do you use masks and tint the entire the image then erase anything you don't want the other color? If not, how do you do it?

Second, can someone try to explain the basics of dropping a car?

 

I usually go into image/layer/hue and saturation and change it there. Or you can try replace color under the same drop menu.

Dropping the car, you want to cut the background with the same height as the bottom of the car. That way when you drop it on the wheels, the background drops with the car. I'm sorry if this doesnt make sense. I'll take some screen captures if you need them

Agreed. The black face alone is money! Also the red calipers look great too but then again I've never been a fan of the brembo gold.
