Not a fan of the tint strip on the windshield. I find it unnecessary for the G35. My old Dodge, I needed that strip because the windshield was so low and steep I needed it for protection against the sun.

Yes my car tag is "Her G". 
Of course I respect his modding the car - if I didn't he would give me crap about modding mine!
As for trying out the new tint - not likely.
I don't get a thrill out of trying to work around seats, etc. LOL!
On the windshield strip - I had one on my car until we had to replace the windsheild a few months ago and I am going to get another one. Around here it is a real help with the sun that comes through between the visors. I miss mine greatly even though I didn't see the point in it to start with.

Of course I respect his modding the car - if I didn't he would give me crap about modding mine!
