Drove the MB CLS 500 Today (No 56k Many Pictures)

The car in motion looks great and really makes an impression with its aggressive stance. I had the suspension on the highest level of sport which I believe also lowers the car .8". For a car weighing 4050lbs it sure handles well with little body sway and was very compliant. Acceleration is strong and the low-end torque is felt. I never went over 4,000rpm and it was pulling hard. I was also surprised to hear a nice rumble coming out of the exhaust that could be heard in the cabin. The way the car drives feels very solid and the interior materials were of high quality. Oh and the cooling seats worked nicely in the 90 degree weather.

These pictures were taken after a 230 mile trip so the car is not clean*

Here is a video I found on the internet of 0-75mph

were we talking about trading our cars for a weekend drive?

but anyways, it is a very nice CLS =) I like their ideas of making a sedan streamed like a coupe: very aggressive and modern looking !

More pics and possibly videos please !

Not to be rude or anything but something is wrong with your G in terms of power (assuming you are 6MT).

It is nice car, just not for me. As well as the car handles I didnt like the steering feel. But great car overall.

My G ran a 14.500@98mph at the track. the CLS does feel a bit faster. The Mags show 13.9/14.0 @ 101 range. It is my mothers daily driver, she is 46 years old.

Mercedes has a lot of torque. I used to have a c46 amg and and e55 amg. They are great cars, but very heavy. If you get a chance, take the AMG Driver's Challenge. The invitations just went out. See if your Mom's dealership will send you an invite or get you on the list. You get to drive AMG's at their peak for a whole day.

I havent driven the CLS yet so I can't comment on how it drives although I m sure its good. I did have a chance to sit inside of one and I m not impressed at all. I mean it feels soo small in there for that big *** car. Like I like the way it feels but wtf is the point of that big *** body for a 4 person car? Thats my only complaint which is a matter of opinion but I just really don't understand that aspect of it. Still a hot lookin car though, especially the 55.
