Infiniti Q50S vs Lexus IS350-f

My g I own. I have a 04 g35 coupe. It's heavily modded. I also own a audi a4. I personally think German car companies are just doing it right. Infiniti it seems that they have lost their passion. They are just targeting a wealthier community and less the ports car community. Honestly when it comes to business there are more people out there looking for a nice luxury car than a sports sedan, or a sports car. They are going for numbers. WUB I agree. I will never ever ever own a first gen. They are always riddled with issues. My a4 is a 2008. I got it with 8000 miles on it. I currently have 58000 miles on it. I have had no problems with it. Not a one. That's how a car should be. I drove an s4 and an s6 the other day and DANG. Amazing. Now those ar 50-80 grand cars. But I also drove the 14 a4 and a6 and they are great. German cars are just doing it right. Outside and inside.

Dont count out Koreans and Americans. Alot has changed. The ATS and CTS-V are sunning and have really made a name for themselves. Hyundai has really came up as well, they use to be laughed at and now very competitive and pulling buyers away. Even the recent generation Pony cars (Mustang/Camaro) have much nicer interior, higher reliability and doing impressive things around a track.
Basically everyone except Infiniti has made some huge improvements since the G35 came out in 2004.

I kno they making great performers but for me personally theyre not quite "cool" yet so itll be awhile since I ever own one. idk how many chicks will be impressed if they see me rolling in a Hyundai knaw mean! lol

But at the same time we were buying her mom a car for xmas present, either a Kia Soul. Scion Xb, Hyundai Accent (its what her mom wanted). While at the Hyundai dealership, we saw a new Azera sitting in the show room and checked it out. I was really impressed with the lines and options. Didnt have the power of the BMW or namesake, but was much more well equipped and about 12k cheaper than the BMW we placed on order. Took it for a test drive and was really impressed. Not sporty at all, but very quiet and smooth ride. Canceled our BMW (they gave us our deposit back) and bought both Hyundais.
White, brown leather interior, carbon fiber trim, navi, 2 piece panoramic room, electronic privacy screen in back, heated/cooled seats, accents lighting, built in smartphone remote start, 5yr/60k mile bumper to bumper, 10yr/100k powertrain, free 5yr roadside.. all for 32k.
5 years ago I would never have though twice about buying a Korean car. Have owned it for a year now, not a single issue. In the first year of owning my G37, I had entire driver seat replaced, muffler replaced, front two calipers and rotors replaced, dash replaced, 1 rim replaced, and acouple minor things. Total I had to go to the dealer 11 times for warranty repairs in the first year (hence the boat load of loaner cars).
Hard to tell, but the black trim is actually carbon.

Not actually my wifes car, I just had pics of that one available. Hers is tinted with stock 19s. The one in the pic is 98% stock except for wheels and some black vinyl to cover stock chrome accents. I like the look too, but wife has a strict no modding policy with her cars.
I like the BBS but I actually wanted to put the VIP Modulars monoblocks in a satin bronze on her car. She wouldnt let me.

Yea. I would look more into the 4 door hyundai, but I need an SUV. Wife wants 3 kids..... We may get a Yukon Denali. I personally think like we stated before Kia and hyundai have been on their a game lately. Personally I think audi and Acura have been as well. The new lexus are very hit or miss. I love them. Grill does not bother me at all. But nissan and infiniti with the gtr aside.... Every car looks like crap. Just a generic piece of crap.

True ill throw honda in there as well. Also some of mazdas stuff. Now I compare the q50 to a mazda 6. To me they look the same haha. Mazda is doing okay, but infiniti really? Should not look like that. Their new fx35 or 45 or whatever they are now q something's..... I actually like those. But they lose the uniqueness when they go to sedans.

Last year my wife wanted a new car to replace her Acura TL-S, but wanted 4 doors, sporty, and reliable. Narrowed it down to G37 sedan, BMW 328i, Caddy ATS, and Audi A4. I had been given several G37 sedans as loaners and she never really liked them, it was the first to go. Second was A4, just a lack luster interior. I wanted ATS, she liked the 328i. So of couse we went put the deposit down for the BMW and called it a day.
