I won't say that the strut bar provides a *drastic* difference, but now my tires are doing what they're supposed to be doing. I'm running kumho spt's, and they squirmed all over the place today(mid 70 degrees), when in the past I couldn't tell if it was the chassis, shocks, springs, or tires.
And some of the sweepers that I took today I entered and exits with speeds that I couldn't achieve before. It's not a huge difference. For example, if there was a sweeper that I could enter at 60 before, I can now enter at maybe 62 or 63. However, I can now get on the throttle earlier than before, so my exit speeds are a good bit higher.
But these back roads are all sweepers. Nothing too sharp or technical. I don't know how effective this bar will be for something like an autocross(our autox looks to be rained out this Sunday).
Ever wonder what lies just below that dull, lackluster finish??
I did. With some metal polish and a little elbow grease.....
I was going to have it powder coated....but this looks pretty good!
It's so shiny...I can't get a good pic.

Just installed mine, met up with Richie, the famous STB guy. haha..
He has a NICE car... oh review...
Car feels like it's using the tires more or correctly or something... steering wheel feel does feel stiffer. Looks awesome in the engine bay... once I clean it up I'll take a pic. Good job on the bar looks solid enough for me. I have an 03.5 sedan and the A/C line was really close, but once installed it was ok. ABS line on both sides is a NO issue. Next time I'll take it up to my fav. canyon/mtn roads and report back here... as for now I think it's well worth it.

oh crap. i might have overtightened the bolts. i don't have a torque wrench and just hand tightened them. anywho as per my review, the car definitely feels tighter goin over speed bumps and road bumps. no more squeeks or rattles. turning also feels tighter and the car is more level. great bang for the buck. a must have if you're on a tight budget and want some suspension mods. I posted pics in my other thread in the picture share section.
Trey, or anyone else w/ sedan... Did you have any problems clearing this vacuum hose? Mine covers/obstructs the strut mount much more than the coupe pics I've seen... It looks as though it would be difficult for the bar to clear…

Mike, I'm sorry I can't help you. I took of the strut brace Monday night so I could test fit it on another car yesterday, and I haven't put it back on yet. I never took any pictures, so I can't recall the disposition of that hose.
