looks like this stuff might be good for polishing my Stillen Exhaust... I've been using Eagle One Never Dull wading polish, it has always great - but the stainless steel is now becoming slightly discolored... maybe this Easy Metal Polish is the trick...

 

It works 10 times better than anything I have ever used.....including Never Dull, Flitz, Blue Majic.....try some!

 

Here's what I did with mine :
$225 for the bar
$25 to give it some colour (red brackets, matte chrome bar)

What do you guys think ? Im pretty happy with how it turned out. Now I just need to wait for the snow to melt to test it out !

 

^^^ very nice gsgottag! Are the brackets paint or PC?... I was planning on black PC for the brackets but then started wondering if it would raise the height enough to cause hood rub?...

Edit: I just realized the title says PC... I presume you have no rubbing issues with the brackets against the hood-liner... PC is thicker than paint but probably not thick enough to raise the height (I could be wrong)... have you checked?

Brackets and bar are PC. Actually the brackets were PC'ed twice bc the guy did the brackets with the chrome first by accident so he did it again with the red overtop. I had no install issues whatsoever. You just need to follow Richie' instructions. Bar is set to the lowest setting. Careful with the bolts, the ones in the back are tricky to start the thread, I had to go fishing for one of them...not fun.

 

right on thanks... I was concerned about the edges of the bracket because someone told me theirs caused a small rip in the hoof liner... I wanted to be sure having PC on the bottom of the bracket didn’t raise the edges enough to be an issue (since there isn’t a lot of clearance to begin with).

I wanted to update my review. It's been on and off the car for about two weeks now. Off, only because I wanted to test fit it on an 07 sedan.

When I had the bar off the car, the difference was more pronounced. I swear, I can't stand the flexing from the front end, even in every day driving.

I've got to say that I love the bar. My best friend said he could even notice the one and only time he's been in the car since it was installed. His comment was unprovoked, as well.

 

Dammit, I'm installing mine tonight!

 

Just to confirm, there is no rubbing on the hood. There is actually a hood liner on the inside of the hood. The bar does put some pressure on the liner but the liner is soft enough to flex. I tested this theory by laying some tape on the bar with the adhesive facing up. The tape transferred to the liner but not by much. The liner may take a set one day but in no way am I concerned about it doing any damage to my hood.

Question . . . Any of you folks with this bar running the 350Z Tokico D-spec-9's shocks without any issues?

 

I have the Tokico for the G's on my sedan with no problem... Might need small hands to adjust the struts..... I just have hard time getting my hands in some places...
