Hex, I thought you were getting clutch kit that GTM recommended you over JWT?
Wally, you have to let me drive your car to feel first hand how it feels
I have my eyes on the JWT.

another update:
i put 260 miles on it already and it keeps getting better and better! the jerking in 1st i was having is smoothing out more...i realized it was doing it in all gears at low rpm's like when starting off in 1st/2nd and such. this upgrade is a must for 6mt owners!

is the flywheel lighter than stock? If it is, do u feel the car accelerating smoother and faster?
I am hitting 50k on my stock clutch, I am getting this clutch and flywheel by winter.

Well I was but they are so busy that it would take a couple of days for them to do it. Plus, the JWT clutch/flywheel combo isn't as expensive as the Exedy clutch/flywheel combo and I can get it installed locally for cheaper. When it comes to FI and my engine, the car will go to GTM. But for the clutch, pretty much any reputable mechanic can do it. Originally Posted by skaterbasist

How's the engagement point? Like stock? Right off the floor?

I loved my JWT clutch/flywhel in my 04 6mt sedan. Engagement was close to stock and it held up great. The only issue was the loudness of the car at idle with the clutch depressed and the car in neutral.....sounds like a cement mixer. I guess it was a decent sacrifice for a lighter flywheel instead of the stock heavy dual mass unit.
