With all due respect, sometimes what is needed is to realize that a certain issue or problem needs to be looked at differently in order to see a solution. After all, without the invention of the telescope, and while enduring the ridicule of the wisdom at the time, the world would still be flat and the Earth would be the center of the Universe!
Before a theory can be proven, a hypothesis must be tested and re-tested. If it still doesn't fit emperical evidence (My GroundingGear Impressions and My Review Thread), then the original hypothesis must be modified and/or discarded, and another used. This is one of the fundamentals of science.
As a physician, my life would be much different if I had to operate (actually my collegues) under the less than sterile conditions that "doctors" accepted a century ago. Many laughed at that time about the existence of organisms that we couldn't see and some postulated caused infections.

You're right, who in their right mind would try and measure "electrical differences" before and after with a "grounding kit"? I mean the manufacturers claim that this is where the power comes from, but what do they know? Not much, other than how to market a product.

The ignition is possibly working better but you are looking for something to be wrong with the MAF reading while assuming a bad ground exists. You wont find much there and it proves nothing that you didn't. My tires aren't handling better because of the wires but there is no expected correlation between the 2.

Based on virtually every post you make, you try to set yourself up as some sort of expert based purely on your supposed expertise as a expert in your field, trying to convince everyone that has opinions that differ from yours, that only your view is valid as it stands up to theory that you took in school.
The old 'Flat-earthers" were also the experts in their day, and their opinions were also based on what was deemed to be the truth at the time.
Even those within the same expert fields or professions sometimes disagree on the same thing. Without "out-of-the-box" thinking and experimentation, advancements that you take for granted every day would never happen.
I'm not sure why, but I do have my theories (my field of expertise) as to why you repeatedly challenge any opinion that counters your own. Perhaps it's usually best to just make one response in any thread with a mod that you disagree with, that way you don't look like an ****** and people will respect the useful things that you have to say.

If I disagree with an opinion, I offer mine as well as an argument explaining why I disagree. I welcome and look forward to any counter arguments so we can all get to the "truth" in the end. I challenge opinions that differ from my own because I am a "truth seeker" and want to have a valid understanding, so when I believe something different than you, I want to hear your argument for that belief. If it is valid and strong, I'll gladly change my stance. If it is not, then I'll argue my case.
I have no agenda with any of this. I don't have grounding wires on my car so I have no desire to fight the possibility that I wasted money on them.
But you're going to have to do a lot better than "people were wrong in the past" as an argument for why I'm wrong now. That argument is invalid, and I could simply turn it around and say the same about you. Just present an argument for how they work, and some evidence that they do work, and we can go from there.
I am a "truth seeker

Besides, I think that the review forums are for the review of products by actual users of the products, not for conjecture, and negative opinions and simply posts for the sake of arguement.
It makes if very difficult for those that are actually looking for feedback to weed through all the arguements, etc., and devalues the usefulness of the threads. One post or opinion I can see, but sometimes this gets out of hand!
I'm hoping the mods and admins will clamp down on this behavior as it's destructive to the forum.
Something to think about: Though the intent may be to inform, if through continuous attacks (on both sides), those that would otherwise post either positive or negative reviews on a certain mod, would likely refrain for fear of being ridiculed or even attacked for what their opinion would be by the few more verbal and vorciferous members here. It amounts to control of the board, and in a very real way, censorship of opposing views.

Mechee and SixFive if you could please refrain from negative posting and from the bickering and personal attacks.
If you don't like the mods, please stay away.
jimmykce1- please start a new thread so that we may bury this one.
Colin.
