Is the group buy still going on? I might get in on it depending how soon it is (if it didn't already happen).

Both have their pro's and con's. I have yet to notice any of the cons with my aluminum shaft though.

CF has other benefits aside from a dollar per pound argument. It's also considerably quieter and can be made to be stronger depending on which option you order.

I'm perfectly happy with my aluminum, but my wife allegedly can hear it and doesn't like it. I can't really hear **** anymore so I'm good with it, but be prepared for the possibility of a little additional NVH with the aluminum.

Football: Aluminum on the group buy was 510 or 550 depending on how many they got, CF was 1225 or 1275 depending on the weave / strength. Non group buy I think was 600 for aluminum and 1300 or 1350 for CF.

Thanks butkiss. Contacted juicinjake and im lined up to get one. Does anyone know anything about the install? is it a pretty strait forward remove and replace? I did it my s13 myself and i'm assuming it will be just as easy on the G. Is that a safe assumption? Is there anything I should know about? What have others done? DIY or take it to a shop?
