I agree with Memphis overall. So I am tending toward the idea that the spacer is a good thing, but thickness will be the variable.
On a related note, it's difficult to compare dynos from different days and different dyno machines and different operators, etc.

 

Hopefully a consensus will evolve as with the crawford. With all the analysis and naysayers some good info will come out of this.

 

Hopefully all questions will be answered next weekend when we test all of the sizes. Maybe hydrazine can extend the GB so that everyone can pick the correct size based on the dyno results. The reason I'm doing my dynos on a dynojet is because it shows what you are actually putting to the ground (approx) while a dynapack measures hp with the wheels removed. I don't mind sharing my info positive or negative with everyone to ensure everyone makes the right decision or answer questions.Yes you can't compare dynos and operators I'm just wondering why I showed almost 15hp less at one place that's alot of hp to me. If it was 3-5hp I would understand since that is what I expected to gain or maybe lose, but not 15hp. Hopefully I'll have answers soon. CA always comes through when it comes to testing.

 

Although it's certainly nice to have dyno data with a Kinetix, I don't think most people should put much if any weight on the results. I have a feeling that the majority of people buying the spacers will be using it with the stock plenum, and this test can in no way be translated to how the spacer is going to work with the stock plenum.

Don't get me wrong, definite props for doing the dynos just trying to make the point clear about the results not being significant to those doing the install on a stock plenum.

 

I think he could double his sales if he shows the plenum plus the spacer adds more power than one or the other alone. I'm a buyer if this is the case or even if they can show that the spacer is better alone than the plenum or the combination of both. Hopefully they will get a crawford tester in there. I haven't read the SoCal thread yet.

 

I understand most people will be using stock plenums with the spacer, but some people also ordered this spacer that have the kinetix plenum. The dyno day will test the various sizes with the stock plenum as I posted earlier. I'm just posting what gains and losses I got with the kinetix. I'm not trying to compare the kinetix and the stock plenum with the spacer just posting my results with the spacer so far.. I hope you do the same when you install yours or any other mod whether negative or positive results we all could use the info.

Thanks..I asked nuttyprof if he would test the combo of the plenum and spacer in addition to the two spacers, stock and crawford. Hopefully he'll only have to do 5 runs but could be six if he tries both spacers alone and both with the plenum. We may have to throw some cash his way...
