Fuji Legalis-R
Even though I was happy with the stock parts, I got a chance to pick up this exhaust on a sweet deal and I love the way it sounds so I could not pass. They run about $900 shipped but I picked one up slightly used from a buddy for quite a bit cheaper.
I think the weight is about the same as stock, and same with the power, but the sound is what did it for me. It's actually a little quieter while cruising (less drone) especially on the highway, but when you open things up you get a nice rich deep growl. At first the tips were a little large for my taste, probably just because I was used to the old tips, but the Fuji tips grew on me and I think they look awesome now.
I'm betting for most people the sound alone would not be a reason to upgrade to a ypipe-back system, and in many ways it's not worth it because the stock setup (if done properly with a reducer cone, etc) is very good already. Overall I'm happy with the upgrade but only because I got a nice discount on it, otherwise I would have just stayed stock.
Oh, if anyone is interested in my stock parts, I just listed both so PM me if you are interested and we can work something out. Both parts have less than 5k miles and are in perfect shape:
Listing: B-pipe/midpipe with reducer cone
Listing: Stock Exhaust
.

Copbait,
If you think the Fuji sounds good now, add headers to them and the Fuji becomes louder and much deeper, a rumble you can feel as well as hear. Sweet, Sweet sound. I'm debating about putting on hi-flow cats. I'm fearful of the smog test issue as well as rasp, which I've heard so much about over all the posts I've read.

Go with a quality set of hiflows like Helix or Crawfords and you should have no rasp. They should also pass smog testing, I know the Helix are already documented as easily passing all CA tests. They are a bit pricey but will give you nice gains.
