I ordered the basic spacer only. There is an upgrade kit in case I decide later I want the "iso-thermal" stuff...but I doubt it.

Bypassing the coolant circuit in the plenum reduces its temperature significantly.

I think it is worth the minor additional install.

I just installed a Skunk2 spacer and the fitment was awesome. Only draw back is they told him his engine cover would fit, it does fit but pretty sure its rubbing the hood Which sucks cause he just had it sanded smooth and color matched to the car

got skunk2 plenum spacer installed by myself in my 06at g sedan 3 weeks ago and i love it.took me about an hour coz my 3yr old son is my assistant, lol. sound so much better and i only paid $185 for it. fit is very good and i'll bet the same or more hp gain than a motordyne w/c cost more.

doubtful. chances are you will be stepping on the gas harder and flooring it every chance you get! hence you will get worse MPG

Yup that's true... after you install it... from 3k on.. the motor sounds like a beast... (also with the Stillen CAI/Z-tube) MPG probably goes down because you want to hear that sound..haha...

Every Motordyne kit comes with everything you need for a complete install.
The only thing you supply is the tools to install it.

I've had the Skunk2 for several months now. No problems what so ever. The fitment was perfect. Its polymer material does not conduct heat and my engine top plenum stays cool to the touch even after running the engine hard.

The Skunk2 is a larger spacer (5/8") than either of the MD (5/16 or 1/2).
I feel all the performance in the top end above 4000 rpm. There is no performance increase felt below that.

No independent dyno has compaired MD w/ Skunk2 spacers.

For whats it worth saw a recent dyno of skunk2 + injen CAI + catback, and it yielded 14rwhp. From that random comparison seems like the skunk2 yields slightly less than the motordyne
