I went from stock airbox/G-tube to K&N drop in/Z-tube definitely louder than stock.Then I added Stillen airbox/Z-tube much louder than K&N drop in/Z-tube at upper to WOT.

Other than the sound, any seat-of-the-pants (butt-dyno) improvements?

Doubtful, but I think if you do other 'breathing' mods like a spacer, exhaust, etc. it helps even more. Hard to say how much. That's just a gut feeling rather than a butt dyno feeling.
