Honestly Ryan, I think that is too bright. It just doesn't look right. Maybe if you covered it with a 30% tint afterwards.

Although on the carbonfiberfilm.com website it looks quite a bit darker. More realistic. Post up some pics of your samples. If it truly is darker, I might look into getting some myself for some of my hobby goods

 

I just saw this from oneautosport. They said

I think what we saw in that video was the silver roll. Honestly I don't think it looks good. I think the Matte black looks better. Do you know which color you are getting in your test pack?


Edit: I think I'm going to pick up a sample pack just to put on my iPhone. My Switch Ease case is pealing on the middle piece. Here a pic of what someone did to a similar case.
