Ok man... its like this... lets say I told you today that E = MC^2 and its shaba's theory of relativity... what would i expect to hear form critics/physics gurus alike? a lot of hate... just like that... Mencia goes around stealing a bunch of jokes from many other notable comics (who obviously YOU have never heard of- as otherwise you would not be able to appreciate Mencia's humor) and reproduces them rather badly... now... for someone who has heard a joke delivered from another comic (delivered well i might add) to listen to the same mangled crap comming out of mencia's mouth is rather not-funny.

People who appreciate mencia are just being fooled by him... you only think that Kia you have been driving around in is a Mercedes that is until you actually ride in a mercedezzzzz foo... think about it

Sampling music and what mencia does are not the same... when you sample music... you are taking bits and pieces of someone's work and along with your own creativity coming up with something new and possibly good.. however what Mencia does is simply taking what someone said and regurgitating it in front of a less informed audience hoping that no one among the informed gets word of it.
