Yo i saw the 9:30 show and i must say that was one of the funnist acts i seen in a very long time. Now im highly into live comedy i got like 30 cds on my IPOD but last night i gotta hand it down to Mr Mencia that muth@f**ker was funny as ****!!!!! i think hes reached that level where hes perfected his craft.

other comics hate his @ss... I'd truly like to see joe rogan beat his @ss....

i knew all the stuff like 2 years ago.... whatever the man did a good job on stage and his material was really good. Anyone who saw the show last night i gurentee did not leave and say he sucked thats for sure

 

I have seen both joe rogan and mencia, and meet both at my club that I worked at Rogan is much funnier IMO but Mencia is cool

 

I passed, he was also at Improv Palm Beach on Wednesday but it's the same old **** "beaner this, beaner that" "D-D-D" I'll download it next week lol!

When I went to see Joe Rogan I was like I never knew this guys was funny, I was like the guy from fear factor, and UFC is funny omg hell ya he was so damn funny.

 

nothing mencia does is laudable... he is a stupid .. joke recycling douche and can't even defend himself when cornered by actual comics.... Im sure ppl here will laugh at you for even mentioning mencia...

Watch the youtube documentary that joe rogan came up with... on mencia stealing jokes... and i mean... anyone who watches his act expecting even anything is so far past reprehension that I might as well just point and laugh at you... sad sad day for human brain kind...

He was still funny as hell., i was at the 7pm show. It was awesome, and so what if he is racist, he makes fun of EVERYONE< even himself, so who the hell gives a crap. Its all good, and comedy is always recycled, and so is MUSIC. So its all the same. STILL FUNNY SHEEEEEEEEET!!!

its not that he's not a good performer, what is in question is his originality

 

Again, COmedy Standup in particular is not always having to be original, just like MUSIC, its all in the presentation. And Carlos Mencia knows how to deliver with perfection. I wish he would have done his DEE DEE DEE jokes, especially the story he told in his last special, but then again since this was being taped for his new Comedy Central special, he had to do all original, and it was all NEW STUFF, End oF Racism card, Story of his experience in Iraq, TURKEY BACON ( probably one of the funniest bits ive heard in a while).
Overall, extremely funny, and so were his openers, the midge from his show, Brian WIlliams ( i think that was his name) when he did his story about the deaf interperters explanation of GAY, i nearly pissed my pants.
