some friends and i bought a nitro 4-tec rc car about 2 years back, and its never ran well (either tuning, or some other issue). Wondering if anyone knows enough about them that would be able to take a look at mine and see why its not running well =P

^thats why i always stayed with electric ones, can be just as fast, and you get to accually drive em more

Electric= 80% driving it 20% working on it
Nitro= 20% Driving it 80% working on it

im not sure. i think the pull starter is ****ed, but thats a quick fix. when we get to work on the springs we can screw with it.

 

If you want to buy one Danny, i can prob sell you mine for like 200 bucks, we paid 400 for it back when we got it. Its a 4-tec by traxxas. It came with the old 1.8 engine or something but we swapped it out with the new 2.8 or what ever the new one was. Its sick when it runs well, does at least 50-60mph, and 80mph advertised... ive just never had enough straight away to get it that high without losing control.

But yea, if you ever want one let me know, i gotta talk to my boys to see if they wanna sell it though since we bought it together.

 

I am gonna be honest I would destroy it in a few min, I just wanna try to drive one lol

i have a SHXTLOAD of r/c cars/boats/airplanes/ and helicopters lol. anyone want to buy one? lol. yeah manny i know about them i can look at it for you if you want. It probably just needs new spark plug and a tune.
